Hi:



I need to get a dining room chair from College Station, Texas to the Bay Area (Santa Cruz specifically but San Francisco is ok).

UPS wants $120 to ship by ground! The chair is part of larger set we already have at our home but it is not worth the $120 shipping.



So I am trying to think out of the box here.



Maybe someone is travelling from College Station to California and would like help with gas money. How does $60 sound to transport a 10lb chair?

If you pack with soft luggage, you can put your things all around the chair and not lose any real space in the back seat.

I promise the chair will be a quiet companion and likes all sort of different music :-)

The largest dimensions are as follows: 26x24x38



If anybody has any other ideas on how I can move this chair, please let me know.
