You tell the butcher how thick you want your steaks, 1", 1 1/2", 2", how many steaks you would like in each package, everything exactly like you want it. How many pound Roast U would like, ie 3lb, 4lb, 5lb, or cut the roast into steaks the thickness you want.
In my opinion you cannot buy beef like I raise from other suppliers or grocery stores! The reason is because our grass fed Bull calf's are approximately 10 to 12 months weighing about 600 to 650 lbs walking. For this reason they are very very lean. Grass fed cows are usually 2 to 2.5 years old and have a lot of fat. When you look at the meat in the meat counter at the grocery store you do not know if that cow was 2 years old or 12 years old.
We will ask you for a 50% deposit when placing your order. The balance will be due when we give you our cut sheet and you fill it out and return it to us. All beef is raised on our property and after weaning the calf's are put out to graze on our pastures. We give no hormone shots, no beef enhancement injections, no antibiotics. We are a small operation and only wish to seek out a small amount of repeat customers so we do not have to pay for advertising. We have Beef consumption breeds, Angus, Charlottes, Beefmasters, Herfords. We do not have and dairy animals, ie Holsteins, Guernsey's, Jersey's which are typically used for milk, cheese, cream, yogurt, ice cream, butter etc. We have plenty of references so just ask for them.
When your meat is cut, wrapped and ready to go you will need to pick up you beef at the meat Processor in Navasota, Tx. Navasota is about 1 hour west like you are going to College Station. To pick up your meat you will show your ID and give them your password and you will be ready to head home.
Also if you wish to have any pan sausage or smoked link sausage (pork mixed with your chili or hamburger meat, maybe 60% beef to 40% pork), ie German, Polish etc. the processor can make it for you and mix it with your beef or his pork. You will need to pay the processor direct for the pork and his processing as none of this is included in my price. Please note if you order the Link Sausage it may not be ready as soon as your beef.
