Offered for sale is an absolutely beautiful Arion Square Grand Piano made in New York in c1881. This has been just recently tuned and checked by a gentleman with significant square grand experience. It has had a restoration at some point but the details are not clear as to when that was. It plays well as it is currently. With a complete restoration these sell for between $38,000 and $55,000. This would be an absolutely gorgeous piece for a historic bed-and-breakfast, hotel, or a grand entry of a beautiful estate. the Arion Square Grand pianos were some of the highest quality square grand pianos made and this is why they continue to be serviceable. This particular piano is made from Brazilian Rosewood which is no longer available. Please ask any questions that you may have and I can get the information from one of the Antique Piano consultants (https://antiquepianoshop.com/product/arion-square-grand-piano/ ) that have been involved with this particular piano. A potential buyer (didn't work out) had another piano tuner come to evaluate the piano and he said that he has never seen a square grand piano in this kind of cosmetic and operational condition. He attributed it to the original build quality and the care that it has had over the years. Open to reasonable offers to get this sold before Christmas.
