BCS Spay holds adoption events Saturday afternoons 2:30-5pm at the College Station Petsmart on University Drive (back by the cat litter).

All our cats and kittens needing homes are spayed/neutered and microchipped for identification. They are up-to-date on vaccinations for rabies and FVRCP. Most are good with other cats but have not been around dogs or children (unless noted).

Adoption fees range from $50 for adult cats over a year old to $100 for kittens under six months old. We include some extra goodies such as soft-sided carriers, bowls, nail clippers, and a few toys with adoptions (while supplies last).

Reply to this post for our adoption application or apply at the adoption event. Planning to attend Saturday, June 15 are:
- Harley & India, an orange/white male kitten & calico female kitten around 3 months old (brother & sister who must be adopted together),
- Kobi, gray torbie female kitten around 4 months old,
- Hunter, brown tabby male kitten around 4 months old,
- Fisher, brown tabby female kitten around 4 months old (Hunter's sister),
- Belle, light brown torbie female kitten around 8 months old (best as an only cat due to initially testing positive for Feline Leukemia Virus = FeLV although tests negative now so possible a false positive or might have a focal or regressive infection),
- Danica, calico patch tabby female cat around one year old,
- Raven, solid black female cat around 2 years old,
- Odin, one-eyed orange/white male cat around 3 years old (best in a home without young kids),
- Roxie, brown tabby female cat around 5 years old (also best in a home without young kids).

Others available for individual meetings with an approved application (some might attend future adoption events):
- Prince & Princess, fluffy brown tabby with white male cat and brown tabby female cat around 1 year old (need to be adopted together),
- Billie, brown tabby/white male cat around 2 years old,
- Peanut, young orange female cat around 4 years old (hard to get in a carrier),
- Murphy, grey/white female cat 10 years old,
- Winona, spunky small black/white tuxedo female cat 10 years old,
- Newman, orange/white male cat around 10 years old (special needs takes meds to help him pee/poop, OK with dogs).
More should be ready for adoption soon.

Or let us know if you are interested in fostering cats or kittens while they wait for forever homes. We provide supplies and pay for essential vet care. Fostering to adopt can be an option for kitties that are not ready to be adopted yet (due to needing to get fixed, treated for a medical issue, or better socialized).

We can provide information on low-cost spay/neuter options in our area for pets or outdoor community/feral cats.
