Here we have for sale a 1968 vintage Magnavox receiver.
It has been recapped with Nichicon audio and Fine Gold capacitors and some Panasonic.
New lights for the dial and a new power cord.
The controls cleaned and lubed and the FM tuner alignment toched up.
The phono connection on this receiver is for a crystal or ceramic cartridge which is a high level input lik AUX or tape and can be used as such. To use a standard magnetic cartridge with it you need a phono preamp - many new turntables are made with built in phono preamps.
The amplifier uses transformer coupling and has a great warm sound, very rich and appealing. Power is probably 7 watts or so per channel, so it will require efficient speakers.
It is rare to find in the stand alone cabinet.
