The item in the photos of the black shelving, are of the actual shelving in this ad, these have been disassembled, and are easily reassembled as shown in reassembly photo.
Style: Freestanding, double sided.
Width: Each unit section is 36” but you can put as few(1unit) or as many in a row as you wish. At the library, they had as many as 18 in a row so 54-foot-long rows in some areas. This is for 10 units, so 30ft long if attached in one continuous row.

Condition: This is nice, excellent preowned condition, powder coated shelving.
Use: Great for libraries, book stores, churches, home, or anyone needing to store books. Also, have had people buy for store display, and warehouse applications.
Specs: Each unit section frame is rectangular 36” (w) X 90” (h.) Each unit section comes with 6 powder coated shelves per side (12 shelves total.) Each shelf can hold 150lbs of books. The frame is free standing double sided so you can have books on both sides, however; you can set up as single sided and just attach to the wall (one sided, must be anchored to wall.)
Wall Mountable: For reference less expensive library shelving operate on a post system where each post has a connector bar at the top, that type of system cannot be mounted to wall. It is also weak from side to side when freestanding, and can lean one way or the other. This shelving system is more expensive system that uses rectangular frames, allowing no sway. Also, because it is a frame, you can mount against a wall. No hardware is provided, but most contractors use a L-bracket to just mount to studs (as show in last photo.) The bottom plate, and bottom brackets, are not installed in this setup, as they do not hold the weight like the free standing does (as shown in second to last photo.) You can just run shelving all the way down to the floor. If, for aesthetics, and not functionality you still wish to put the bottom plate on, you simply need to shear it in two, since you are only using one side. Please note, each unit includes only one frame. You cannot make two wall units out of one frame. They do not split it is one frame to make one wall unit. Also, note there are no pictures of wall setup of the black shelving. The library this was taking out of had no units mounted to their walls. I have included a pic from a beige unit for reference purposes of what a frame mounted unit looks like. We have 20+ years’ experience in this field. We have removed from libraries all over, and these are the same frames used for wall mounted shelving, everywhere.
