Embry General Contractors is a growing construction services company specializing in residential installation services across Texas and South Louisiana (the “Service Area”). We are currently seeking experienced licensed electrical contractors to perform ceiling fan and light fixture installations throughout our service area.
This role is ideal for dependable professionals who take pride in their workmanship, maintain strong customer communication, and can work independently while delivering high-quality installation services.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Contractors will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Independently managing and completing scheduled service appointments.
• Traveling to job sites throughout the designated service area, including occasional longer-distance travel.
• Coordinating with customers to schedule installations within established appointment windows.
• Maintaining consistent and professional communication with both customers and the Embry General Contractors office.
• Assembling new ceiling fans and fan light kits according to manufacturer specifications.
• Removing existing ceiling fans (up to the purchased installation height) and disposing of them when requested by the customer.
• Installing and wiring new ceiling fans and fan light kits to existing electrical boxes that have power, functioning controls, and appropriate structural support.
• Installing additional components as needed, including down rod extensions, replacement wall switches, and reinforcement kits when required by the customer or local building codes.
• Balancing fan blades to ensure proper operation.
• Conducting a final walkthrough with the customer upon completion of the installation.
• Testing the installed fan and remote control (if applicable) to ensure proper functionality.
• Reviewing product instructions and warranty information with the customer.
• Pulling any required permits in accordance with local municipal regulations.
• Performing final cleanup of the job site upon project completion.

Installer Requirements (Equipment & Supplies)
Contractors must provide, at minimum:
• All necessary professional tools and ladders required to install ceiling fans and light fixtures in ceilings up to 15 feet in height.
• Miscellaneous electrical supplies such as wire nuts, electrical tape, and related materials necessary to complete installations.

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Ability to pass a criminal background check (no felonies, DWIs, or DUIs).
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Access to a reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools and small materials, with appropriate insurance coverage.
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, EPA Lead Renovator Certification and Firm Certification.
• Must hold a valid electrical license in the State of Texas authorizing independent electrical work and installations.
