Retired male, 71, quiet, peaceful, non-smoker, non-drinker, good health pursuits, generalist, still strong, no family, no criminal record, no traffic tickets. I'm seeking a rural or small town lifestyle (east of Austin) for about one year, possibly less. Eventually I will be leaving USA for Ukraine, to help with the war effort and with rebuilding Ukraine. Thus, I am becoming European, and my grandparents were mostly from Finland. For time being, in 2026, I prefer a farm environment, as simple as shade trees (good shade is needed) on a few acres, where I can park my RVs. What I own will mostly all be systematically sold or given away. I value my tools and musical instruments, etc. but probably these mostly will not be retained for my use ever again. I have a fair bit of paperwork to complete over the coming months. The worth of my three RVs and various possessions (plus a car or two) is probably not over 30K on a good day, but everything is useful for living and working. I once owned a very promising estate, before the recession hit, and now my future in USA is not looking positive on very meager social security - so I am leaving. The call to defend Europe is for me to heed, anyway. The cost of staying in Austin is beyond my ability at this point, so I am looking somewhat to the East, perhaps as far as Louisiana. I need a destination where I am welcome to stay for some months, possibly a year. I can not afford much for rent, but I can build things and repair cars, etc. As an old man now I am running out of pep, but I have a good nature. I have some background in most sciences. I am familiar with building houses and remodeling. Basic farm chores are OK, and I like animals. I am one for catching daily news around the world. I enjoy effective exchange of ideas (But without obsession and without drama being resorted to as a path to believing in oneself or for demeaning others). I can almost live off-grid but electricity is required to be efficient in my work pursuits. Can run power lines and build septic systems, if necessary. I need a secure environment and reliable friends where I can finish my tasks. Perhaps you will want an RV, etc. Let's talk about it. I can receive text on my cell phone. This number "3150998" multiplied by 3 will yield my actual phone number for area code 512 (Dave in Austin). Thank you.
